1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using burnlist.app ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
burnlist.app is a daily task management application. The core functionality includes:
- Creating and managing daily task lists
- Automatic daily reset at your configured reset time (midnight by default, in your timezone)
- Task prioritization and completion tracking
burnlist.app is free to use. burnlist.app is free for everyone; some features, such as the archive, progress statistics, Top 3 focus and a custom reset time, need a free account.
3. User Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
4. Free Service
The Service is provided free of charge. We do not sell subscriptions or premium plans. We may show advertising on public pages of the Service (such as the blog and guides) to cover running costs; see section 5.
5. Advertising and Third-Party Content
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on public pages of the Service. Ads are provided and served by Google and its partners, not by us, and are shown only if you accept advertising cookies. We do not show ads inside your task list, archive, progress or settings pages.
- The appearance of an advertisement is not an endorsement of the advertiser or its products.
- We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of advertisers or of third-party websites you reach through ads or links.

6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transmit malware or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Abuse, harass, or harm others
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
7. Data and Content
You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service. By using burnlist.app, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Daily Reset: By design, incomplete tasks are cleared from your daily list at your configured reset time (midnight by default) in your timezone. This is a core feature, not a bug. We are not responsible for any data cleared as part of normal Service operation.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, burnlist.app and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which burnlist.app operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
