1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using burnlist.app ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
burnlist.app is a daily task management application. The core functionality includes:
- Creating and managing daily task lists
- Automatic daily reset at midnight (user's local timezone)
- Task prioritization and completion tracking
3. User Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
4. Service Tiers
burnlist.app offers two service tiers:
Free — available to all registered users, includes:
- Unlimited daily tasks
- Automatic daily reset at your configured time
- Top 3 priority tasks
- Dark and light themes
Pro — paid tier with additional features:
- Archive of completed tasks
- Streak tracking and statistics
- Achievement badges
Pro is available as Monthly ($4.99/month), Yearly ($39.99/year), or Lifetime ($79 one-time payment).
5. Payments, Subscriptions and Donations
Subscriptions: Pro subscriptions are processed securely through Stripe. Monthly and Yearly plans auto-renew until cancelled.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through Settings or the Stripe Customer Portal.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods on Monthly and Yearly plans.
- Lifetime purchases are eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase.
Donations: You may also choose to support the development of burnlist.app through voluntary donations, which are separate from Pro subscriptions.
- Donations do not unlock any additional features.
- One-time donations are non-refundable.
- Recurring donations can be cancelled at any time through Stripe.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transmit malware or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Abuse, harass, or harm others
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
7. Data and Content
You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service. By using burnlist.app, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Daily Reset: By design, incomplete tasks are cleared at midnight in your timezone. This is a core feature, not a bug. We are not responsible for any data cleared as part of normal Service operation.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, burnlist.app and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.
